Pork Chops with Peach Chutney

  • 6  center cut loin pork chops
  • 1 jar (10oz.)  Kozlowski Farms Peach Chutney
  • 1  medium yellow onion
  • 1/2  cup  Chardonnay wine (Dutton Estate is a great choice!)
  • 2  tablespoon  olive oil
  •   fresh cracked pepper to taste
  •   salt to taste
In heavy skillet, brown chops in olive oil about 2 minutes on each side. Remove and place in an ovenproof covered casserole dish. Set aside.

Chop onion in large pieces, saute in remaining oil that is left in skillet, about 5 minutes.

Add Chardonnay wine to onions, deglaze skillet.

Add Kozlowski Farms Peach Chutney.

Pour onion and chutney mixture over chops.

Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Chicken breast may be substituted for pork. (Reduce baking time to 45 minutes for chicken substitution.)
