Five Pepper Jam Baked Brie

Ingredients:
  • 1  medium wheel of brie, well chilled
  • 1  tube refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1  10.5 oz jar Kozlowski Farms Five Pepper Jam
  • 1  egg
  • 1  tablespoon  milk
Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees

Trim the white crust from the top of the brie wheel with a sharp knife and set aside.

Open the tube of biscuits, separate and place close together on a sturdy surface. Press biscuits together to form a large round, use a rolling pin to form a circle large enough to encase the wheel of brie.

Place rolled pastry dough on a large non stick baking sheet, put brie wheel on top of the dough and spread the entire jar of Five Pepper Jam on top of the cheese.

Gather the edges of the dough and bring up over the brie and jam, pinch together at the top to seal the dough. Fan the excess pastry dough around the top for form and decoration.

Crack the egg in a small bowl, add the milk and beat together with a fork.

Brush top of dough with egg mixture making sure the pastry is completely covered and sealed.

Place baking sheet on middle rack of oven and bake brie for 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown, remove from oven and let set for 10 to 15 minutes.

Place brie wheel on a serving dish and serve with toasted french bread or your favorite crackers.
