Russian River Valley Wine Cake


Ingredients:
  • 1  package chocolate fudge cake mix
  • 1  package chocolate or chocolate fudge instant pudding mix
  • 4  eggs
  • 3/4  cup  vegetable oil
  • 3/4  cup  Sebastopol Vineyards Pinot Noir Wine
Directions:
Combine ingredients in order given. Stir with wire whisk until well blended and smooth, mix in electric mixer on low speed about two minutes.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until top springs up when lightly touched.

Cool in pan for 10 minutes.

Put cake in a beautiful dish and frost with Raspberry Cream Frosting or dust with powdered sugar.

Raspberry Cream Frosting
1 pound powdered sugar
2 tablespoons Kozlowski Farms Raspberry Jam
1/2 cup soft butter
2 tablespoons OR enough heavy cream to make a smooth paste

Whip in electric mixer at high speed until frosting is the desired consistency.
