We consider our pies a "slice" of history. The tradition of pie making at the Farm dates back to 1952 when Carmen Kozlowski began making fruit pies from the overabundant supply of berries and apples on the property. Carmen's original recipes are still used today in the vast selection available at the Farm's Retail Store, at Specialty Food Retailers and by 2nd day air
The pies are prepared two unique ways: Carmen's original style, the Old Fashioned Double Crust Pie, or her later creation, a Pecan Crumb Top Pie. The Pecan Crumb Top Pie is her version of a strussel topping. The delicious pie crusts are made with no partially hydrogenated oils and unbleached four.
Each morning, the Bakers at Kozlowski Farms prepare a selection of fresh baked pies, "pie tarts" and cookies. Farm visitors can select from the Bakers Choice of the Day , or order their favorite varieties ahead of their visit by phone or via email. Locally phone (707) 887-1587 or order pies online-pickup at the Farm. For something truly special, the Farm freezer is filled with unbaked Kozlowski Farms pies. Take one home unbaked - then enjoy the aroma of a homemade pie as it bakes filling your home with scent of raspberries, apples, blackberries, cherries....
