FAMILY NEWS!

It's a girl! Congratulations to Dave and Jina Homan, who welcomed their 2nd child on October 31, 2007. Makenna Taylor, or "Mak" as called by Papa Perry, arrived at 10:55 p.m. on Halloween night, weighing in at 8 lbs. 8 ozs. With the exception of some sleepless nights, Mom, Dad, big brother Zack and baby Makenna are doing well.

On October 27th, Perry Kozlowski was inducted into the first El Molino High School Athletic Hall of Fame. The committee honored 20 former athletes spanning 43 years of El Molino history at a banquet held in nearby Healdsburg. Perry was recognized for outstanding athletic achievement for his four years at El Molino and even now, 38 years later, Perry still holds the school football record for the most points scored in a single season. His son Tyler achieved his own high school football record prior to graduation. Tyler holds the record for single season passing yards and career passing yards.

Congratulations are in order for Kyle Hayworth, who recently graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Kyle has come back to work at the farm with his uncle Perry. Kyle will be working closely with Perry in all aspects of manufacturing and farming.

As one member of the family graduates another leaves for college. Justin Hayworth, Kyle's younger brother, recently left for his first semester at Arizona State University, where he plans to major in Business. Good luck Justin!

Dutton Estate Winery owners Joe and Tracy Dutton are celebrating their recent nod in Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Their 2006 Kylie's Cuvee Sauvignon Blanc received a 93 and Editors Choice for the April 2008 issue. The 2006 Karmen Isabella Pinot Noir also received an Editors Choice in the March issue. Tracy, Carmen Kozlowski's eldest granddaughter, has selected two of Dutton Estate's premium wines to make available for purchase on our website. For more details, visit the wine link to the left of our homepage for details.
