Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Our farm is located in Sonoma County's acclaimed Russian River Valley and Green Valley appellations, one of the world's most celebrated regions for Pinot Noir.
With pedigree like this, we felt the property's true calling had to be Pinot Noir. So, in the spring of 1999, we began planting the notoriously finicky, but definitively delicious grape variety. Our land has rich, sandy loam soil, and this combined with a climate of warm days and cool nights, proved ideal for the cultivation of smooth and seductive Pinot Noir.
We bottle a very precious 90 cases of our Pinot Noir, which is made at our family's Dutton Estate Winery. Joe Dutton and his wife Tracy (Carmen's eldest granddaughter) work with Winemaker Mat Gustafson to craft exceptional wines of complexity and vineyard character. We sell our wines online and in our retail store. The remaining grapes are sold to David Bruce, a winery in California's Santa Cruz Mountains that is internationally recognized for exceptional Pinot Noir.

The Russian River Valley grape growing region is located within Sonoma County and is famous for growing world class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes for premium wines.
